Getting on top of your health can be somewhat overwhelming. We may have lived our whole young adult lives not having to care too much about our health or we may have hit that “ripe old age” where our bodies seem to be continually failing us. Where do we start? Good question!
Maintaining a balanced lifestyle requires us to look at our diet, exercise and our mental health. Health is defined as “the condition of the body and the degree to which it is free from illness, or the state of being well” and Fitness is defined as “the condition of being physically strong and healthy” (Cambridge Dictionary). The key is to find out how we define these two concepts ourselves and relate it to our own bodies.
